On the Nineth Day of Christmas...

My true love gave to me a tag and a card!  Good Morning Friends!  It's Kimberly here.  We are celebrating the Twelve Days of Christmas at Right at Home Scrapbooking and today is my turn to share.  My creations are made with Echo Park papers and Hero Arts stamps. First up is this fun tag.

The ornament images were stamped, fussy cut, and then popped up. Then I added some buttons and craft twine. The sentiment was stamped in Colorbox white ink. A little bit of polka dotted ribbon and some machine stitiching finish off my creation.

Here is a Happy Holidays card using some more of these fun Echo Park papers. I used Memento ink to stamp the house image. It is colored up with Copic Markers (C1, C3, R37, R39, G94, and G99) and I added some Star Dust Stickles to make the snow drifts a bit sparkly.  A sweet little button and some craft twine complete my card.

On the Third Day of Christmas

Good Morning Friends! I have a card and a tag to share with you today. The Right at Home Scrapbooking Store Design Team is celebrating the Twelve Days of Christmas. To see all of the fun projects for the Holidays, just stop by the store blog each day. This month, Lisa asked me to work with some Hero Arts stamps and these fun papers from Echo Park. Here is a peek at my tag. I started off with a die cut made with the My Favorite Things Die-namics Tag, You're It die. I added some machine stitching, a sweet little button, and some pretty ribbon. The festive tree is colored up with Copic Markers (E23, E25, G82, G94, G99, YR24, YR30, and YR31) and then I fussy cut it out and popped it up on the tag. My card design is simple, but I love the way it turned out. The image is colored with Copic Markers (G82, G94, G99, R46, R59) and then I added some Star Dust Stickles. A button, some craft thread, and a bit of machine stitching complete my card. Thanks so much for visiting with me this morning. More Unity Stamps and Crate Paper Creations!

Good Morning Friends! It's Kimberly here!  I have two more cards to share with you that use the wonderful Unity Stamp set and Crate Papers that Lisa gave me to work with this month. The name of the stamp set is called Simple Blessings and all of the papers are from the Farmhouse collection from Crate Paper. I started off by embossing the pumpkins and leaves on the main panel with clear embossing powder. Then I sprayed the panel with Harvest Orange Glimmer Mist. Before the glimmer mist dried, I wiped it off the embossed areas. I was very happy with the results.  It's a great technique! My other card for today was a lot of fun to put together. Each individual leaf is stamped in an autumn color and then cut out. They are popped up on squares that I stamped the swirling image from the set on. I added a button with some Baker's Twine to finish off the last square.

Unity Stamp Company Meets Crate Paper

Hello Friends! It’s Kimberly here! I have two cards to share with you today. This month, I was lucky enough to work with papers from the Farmhouse Collection from Crate Paper and the Simple Blessings set from Unity Stamp Company. My first card uses two pumpkins from the set. I stamped them onto Neenah Solar White paper, fussy cut them out, and layered them together. They are added to a panel of this pretty cranberry plaid print and accented with chocolate brown papers, ribbon, and buttons. I LOVE the colors and the flowers on this next card. I split one of the sentiments from the Simple Blessings set and stamped that onto an oval from the My Favorite Things Die-namics Layered Label Die. My accents include this wonderful teal colored twill, a button, and some craft twine. You’ll be able to find all of the supplies for these cards the next time you stop by Right at Home Scrapbooking. More Creations Using Hero Arts-Sizzix

Hello Friends! It's Kimberly here again!  I have two more cards to share with you today. Earlier this month, I showcased one of the new large background stamps with the matching embossing folder from Hero Arts-Sizzix. You can find all of the details for that product here. This time around, I'm using the new Hero Arts-Sizzix Antique Flowers and Butterflies set. Along with the cling stamps in the set, there are matching dies that fit each image perfectly. How cool is that! The cling stamps easily attach to your acrylic blocks. Here's a picture of the set and one of the stamped images. Here's a picture of the image with the matching die. I like to add a little piece of tape to hold the die in place before I run it through my Cuttlebug. For these Sizzix dies, I use an A, B, paper and die, and C "sandwich". After I ran the "sandwich" through my Cuttlebug, this is what I ended up with...A perfect die cut piece! I took this beautiful stamped blossom and created this note card. The sketch for this card came from Jen Del Muro's October Sketch For You To Try. Here is another note card with this lovely set. A Sample from the Hero Arts-Sizzix Collection

Hello Friends!  It's Kimberly here!  I have some new products to share with you today.  This month, Lisa sent me some stamps, dies, and embossing folders from the new Hero Arts-Sizzix Collection. I'm going to showcase one of the large stamps and the matching embossing folder this time around. This set is called Silhouette Vines. It includes a stamp that fits the front of a 4-1/4" by 5-1/2" card and a matching embossing folder. Here is a peek at the stamp. You can ink it up a couple of different ways. You could either attach it to a large acrylic block or you could just place it on your work space. That is what I did here. I then inked it up, placed my card stock on top, and then rubbed the card stock firmly and evenly for the ink to make an impression onto the paper. When you lift up your paper, this is what is waiting for you. Isn't it a beautiful image! Now you can take the stamped paper and place it in between the embossing folder. Be sure that everything lines up. It is quite easy. I then made a "sandwich" to emboss this in my Cuttlebug. Starting at the bottom, I used the A Plate, B Plate, My Hero Arts-Sizzix Embossing Folder with the stamped image, and then another B Plate on the top. After you run it through the machine, this is what you end up with! Can you see the embossing...so pretty and elegant! Here are a couple of cards that I made to showcase this product. A quick and easy notecard for the Autumn season. After I embossed the image on this one, I cut part of the image out to give it a different look.

Sage Green and Kraft Card: Stamps: Hero Arts Silhouette Vine Stamp and Embossing Folder, Cuttlebug, Memento Desert Sand Ink, Echo Park Victoria Gardens Papers, Ribbon, Button, and Craft Thread.  I also used my sewing machine around the edges of this card.
