MFT Fan Club Layout

I had a lot of fun putting together this month's MFT Fan Club Layout.  I've discovered that if you want fun pictures of your teen...the best thing to do is to get them a camera phone...they take it everywhere and don't groan and hide when their friends want to take pictures.  These pictures are from a recent gymnastics meet...the girls had lots of fun waiting for the awards ceremony to begin!  The bright and cheery  Amy Tangerine papers and fabric papers, and the MFT Behind the Camera Die namic were  the perfect additions to my silly pics! Take a peek.

This month's MFT Fan Club meetings will be held on both Saturday, May 26th at 10:00am or Thursday, May 31st at 6:00pm.  If you are attending, please make sure to bring adhesive (regular, foam tape and liquid) and  a black brush marker in addition to your regular class tools.  Hope to see you there!

Layout Workshop...this Friday!

We almost forgot to post the preview of this month's Layout Workshop Project!  Well, here it is....

We'll be playing with some Amy Tangerine papers and crackle paints!  Make sure to bring your class kits including trimmers, adhesives (tape runner, foam tape, liquid adhesive) and a black brush marker.  Also don't forget to bring the project(s) you created with last month's take home kit for some "show and tell!"  Layout Workshop will be held this Friday, May 18th at 7:00pm.  Hope to see you there!

Margarita's Anyone?

Boy it seems like forever since I've posted!  Well, I'm back and I have a fun 2-pager for you!  When Lisa gave me Jillibean Soup's new Coconut Lime Soup, I knew exactly what pictures I would use!  Take a peek...

These pictures are from last year's tail-gating session at Jimmy Buffett...we go EVERY year!  This was such a fun line to play with, and very versitile...there are some fun margarita sayings, but there are also a lot of spring and garden themed embellishments as well.

My banners were created by punching out the lime shapes from the "Coconut Milk" paper, folding them in half over a piece of Buttercream Twinery Twine and stapling in place with my Tiny Attacher.

The margarita glass was cut using the "Let's Toast" MFT Dienamic.  I colored it with my copics, then covered it with some Glossy Accents to make it shine.  To finish it off, I added some Icicle Stickles as the "salt" on the rim!

MFT Fan Club Layout

I just realized that I never posted a peek of the layout we'll be creating at this Saturday's MFT Fan Club meeting at 10:00a.m.  Well, here it is!

April Layout Workshop

Hi Everyone... I'm here to give you a quick peek at the April Layout Workshop project. 

We'll be playing with Basic Grey's Out of Print Collection, some spring-y Die namics and some fun Dylusion Spray Inks!  This is a perfect color scheme for your spring photos!

April's Layout Workshop will be held on Friday, April 27th at 7:00pm.  Please note that this is one week later than usual due to the April vacation week.  Space is limited, so be sure to sign up soon!

Echo Park Mini Themes are in the House!

Hunting Eggs with Jillibean's Southern Chicken Dumpling Soup

Jillibean Soup has come out with some awesome new lines this year, including Southern Chicken Dumpling Soup (don't you just love the name??).  This line is perfect for Easter and Spring layouts with pretty pastels and some great stickers!  I used this collection to scrap our annual neighborhood egg hunt.

I created some twine frames for my photos by applying adhesive to my photo mat and winding the twine around. 

I had some old Jillibean corrugated butterflies in my stash, and accented them by tracing and cutting butterflies from some of the patterned papers, then creating a body by wrapping twine around a piece of toothpick.

A Fine and Sunny Day

Girl Time

Hi Everyone,
Feels like forever since I've posted!  Well, I'm back and I have a fun layout created using the A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E Sole Sisters by Imaginisce. In addition, I used the March Color challenge to use Kraft on your layout (in honor of National Craft Month...get it??? Ok, a bit punny, I admit) Take a peek...

I did quite a bit of fussy cutting... First, I cut the purses from the "Purse-onality" paper to create an embellishment cluster on the corner of my page.


I also fussy cut a bunch of the flowers from the "I Pick You" paper to add decorations to my MFT die cut Banner.


I added the black stitching to tie in with the black outlines on the papers.  It was a fun layout to create.  I'll be back later this month with another layout using some cute new Jillibean papers, in the meantime, make sure to drop into Right at Home, there's so many new CHA goodies coming in daily, you'll be happy you did!

My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Collections

My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline is a collection of four different lines, all perfect for your spring and summer scrapping needs!  The first line is Dilly Dally which is full of fun bright colors!  Take a peek at the entire line of papers and embellies here.
