Working for the Weekend!

Hi Everyone! I don't know about you- but it seems like I'm definitely working for the weekend lately! I LOVE summer and this weather couldn't be any better in New England.

After I saw the 9 to 5 line by October afternoon, I knew it would be perfect for this sketch:

Here is my take on this fun sketch:

I used the woodgrain backgound as my base and layered the ever trendy hexagon shape on top to create the focal point. Want to make quick hexagons that are perfect everytime? Check out the Sizzix Hexagon Dies at Right at Home. Lisa has got them stocked in various shapes at the store. I used the 1.5 inch hexagons on this layout and see many more uses for this die in the future!

I had fun adding in some embellishments of 9 to 5 washi tape that displays the days of the week, bling, twine, and some ADORABLE wood veneer stars by Studio Calico.
