I'm not really certain how someone so young could be so serious, but my son takes the concept "old soul" to a whole new level. Quinn's a thinker. He likes to observe and process everything, and in the process has earned himself the nickname "Mr. Serious".
Armed with the July sketch Holly shared with you earlier this week and Doodlebug's Snips & Snails collection, I created a layout to remember this. I really enjoyed the simplicity of the hexagon sketch, and felt the illusion of it's connecting pieces translated well into the memory I was trying to capture.
On this layout, their are several different layers, in addition to a secret, pull-out, journaling tab documenting the reasons why we call Quinn, Mr Serious.
Although I am a mom of a one year old boy, and gravitated towards this collection immediatly, I truly feel the Doodlebug Snips & Snails collection has so many possibilities aside from "boy" themed projects. The cool & creamy shades of green, yellow, blue and brown patterened papers offer unlimited possibilities much beyond "the baby years." (I tried to display that here for you today.) The next time you're at Right At Home, be sure to look for this collection!
