A color challenge that is! February's color challenge is so beautiful and I was more than delighted to play along! Take a look at this color palette - so pretty for Spring don't you think?!

As soon as I saw this combination I knew exactly what picture I was going to use! My niece's daughter Katelynn is often a subject for my pages. She is a ham for the camera and this picture is no exception! Here's my layout ...
Here's a few close-ups ... The alpha was painted with twinkling H20's and I added white rub-ons to tone down the pink. I added liquid pearls to "dance" and then added some glitter flakes while it was wet ...
The handmade flower was made by punching eight 2.0" scalloped circles, wetting the circles and crumpling while wet. Then layer all eight circles together, add a brad to the middle and scrunch each layer towards the center. I then added some white paint to accent the flower and placed some pink tulle behind the flower ...
