Hi everyone! Jess here today with my take on the January sketch. This was a really fun and simple design and it reminded me how easy sketches make scrapbooking.
And I could NOT love this October Afternoon Farmhouse line more than I do. It is one of my favorite lines on the market right now... such great colors and textures!

You can see that I changed a few things to suit my photos and my style. The largest photo is horizontal and I moved my title below it instead of above. Instead of the line of embellishments at the top I used the banner pattern. And I added a border and a few more embellishments than the sketch called for. But the general design is clearly visible.
Stitching, twine, and some buttons all added necessary depth and interest to my page, as well as some pop dots for dimension. I "whitewashed" the wood letters to give them that rustic farm look.
Give this sketch a whirl! I can't tell you how refreshing it is to scrap this way!
