I'm in complete disbelief that the Fourth of July is almost here. It seems that just yesterday I was trying to see over the seven foot tall snowbanks! This year has flown! Now that it's officially summer, our family is getting ready for our annual tradition of attending the Chatham, MA 4th of July parade. We've been attending this parade since my daughter was a toddler. It's a fun, old-fashioned parade with bagpipes, Minutemen and floats created by town businesses. It has become quite the event, with thousands crowding the small downtown area to watch. To make sure we have a good spot, we get to town quite early, stake our claim and then go to one of the local cafes for take out breakfast and coffee. This is the subject of the photo in my layout this month... breakfast on the church lawn.
I was very excited to get to use Bo Bunny's new Liberty Line for my layout. This line is fabulous for all your patriotic layouts...full of perfect red, white and blue patterns. For my title, I took a line from the Freedom paper that was full of patriotic sayings... I thought it was a perfect fit. I painted some chipboard letters I had on hand with my Jenni Bowlin malted milk paint dauber (one of my new favorites!) and also added some My Little Shoebox letters to mix up the title a bit. I used my MFT Star Die namic to create the stars that I scattered and popped.
It really is a simple layout... a few layered papers and a smattering of embellishments and done!
I hope that everyone has a wonderful and safe Fourth of July. I'll be back later in the month with some Echo Park Splash Layouts!

This is so fun, Kathy! I am a big fan of all the stars!
