Oh my gosh, how fun are these photos of my Father, Sister, and I from '84 and '87? I just love everything about them—the costumes we wore, the home décor, and the amount of priceless memories that came back to me, just like it was yesterday.
One of the fun things I encountered working on this month’s design team projects, was the fact that I didn’t have “readily available” kid’s photos from past Halloween’s. It forced me to dig into the archives and allowed me the opportunity to document my own childhood memories—and how great will this story be, when we finally do have a family of our own who can flip though my pages? Makes me wonder if they’ll get ‘protective’ of their candy too, when good ole’ mom wants some of their hard earned Peanut Butter Cups?
The paper, ribbons, and Trick-Trick or Treat sticker used on this project are all from the Making Memories Toil & Trouble collection. I then mixed in a few colors of Shimmer Spritz, and a chipboard scroll-like shape from the My Mind’s Eye Blackbird collection, left over from the Halloween banner I shared earlier this month—all of which is available at Right At Home!
I have to say, scrapbooking is so much fun, no matter what year you scrap!
(And for those of you who are curious, I’m the youngest one.)
