October is my favorite month of the year. I love the crisp cool air, watching the leaves change colors, and participating in lots and lots of fun fall activities, like apple picking, hay rides, haunted houses, drinking warm apple cider, and eating a little too much candy. For me, October is just a comfortable and cozy month--and the fact that my birthday falls in the middle doesn't hurt either!
I was so excited when Lisa & Sharon asked that I make a Halloween banner this month. I was lucky enough to be one of the first to see all the new Halloween lines as they were unpacking and remodeling a few weeks back and had so much fun picking out what I wanted to use on this project. All of the new collections were simply precious, but my final choice was the My Mind's Eye Blackbird collection.
For this project, I threw everything I had at it... distress inks, glimmer mist, glossy accents, glitter, my sewing and Cricut machines. I think the combination of techniques played out into a fun little display.
FRONT: Happy Haunting!
BACK: Halloween Night
The best part about this project is that everything you see, including the Cricut cartridges (I used a combination of the October 31st and Pumpkin Carving) can be found at Right At Home.
Happy Haunting!

that is FABULOUS! I love Halloween - I think it's my favorite holiday for scrapping stuff. I did a banner last year that I had so much fun making... think I need to do another b/c that was a gift!
Great job Cory!
