This month I had a chance to sit down and play with a whole pile of the Out & About line from We'R Memory Keepers. I love the colors and icons in this line - perfect for all of my boy layouts. The inspiration for this page was definitely the strip of patterned paper with the airplane at the bottom. I decided to use it as part of my title and I think it worked perfectly!
I worked my way from there and kept adding different patterned papers until I came up with this design.
I needed a place to "ground" my title, so I covered two chipboard clouds with some of the coordinating graph paper from Out & About. I think the cloud shapes lead the eye all the way down to the bottom of the page (or at least that was my intention!).
The last touch was a bit of stitching around my focal point photo and some brown baker's twine that I wove through the die cut paper.
I love this Out & About line by We'R Memory Keepers. I think it's so versatile. I used it for photos of my son and his first motorized airplane, but you can use it for airport, airplane or travel photos. The line also features some cool cars and cityscape icons that I will be using very soon!

precious. great job!
