I know that school hasn't even started yet, but I'm already excited for Midterm... Bella BlvdMidterm that is. It's another great line being introduced at CHA this week.
I'm always making the kids in the neighborhood suffer through first day of school pictures, and this is the perfect paper to use to scrap those pictures! It's fun and bright and works with the tween, teen and college age groups. Take a peek at these great papers and embellishments!
and some close ups.....
Don't you love the "text" sayings?? I'm constantly being "schooled" on how to text by my 12 year old... this is just fantastic.
Bella Blvd.'sMidterm will be available at Right at Home Scrapbooking sometime in August or September. Make sure to stop in and grab some before it's all gone!
I'll be back next week with a couple more sneak peeks from CHA!! Happy Scrappin'

That's how I feel!! If you've been looking at all the sneak peaks from CHA you know exactly what I'm talking about. There are so many new designs, papers, embellishments... that's it's hard to maintain control. It's all so pretty!
I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorites that are being introduced at CHA. Of course, top of the list is one of the new Bo Bunny Lines, Whoo-ligans. This line is full of fun monsters and goblins, perfect for Halloween. Bo Bunny even managed to make spiders cute!
Here's a look at some of the fun papers and embellishments from the Bo Bunny Blog:
Isn't this line just Spooktacular (ok, sorry, couldn't resist)
Another line that caught my eye is Lovey Dovey from Bella Blvd. I guess technically this is meant to be a valentines line, but I see so many applications. The colors are great and the designs really pop. Here's a look from their blog:
Don't you love the colors, and those critters are too precious!!
Well that's just two of my new favorites... These items will be finding their way to Right at Home Scrapbooking throughout August and September. I'll be back again soon to show you a couple more of my Must-haves! Trust me there are PLENTY more!
I am really surprised that I am enjoying Reminisce's The Wild Collection as much as I am. I do not usually take the obvious themed paper and embellishment route, but I am kinda liking it in this case. This collection was just perfect to scrapbook our family vacation to Galveston, Texas last summer. While we were in Galveston, we had to take a trip to the Rainforest Cafe...doesn't everybody? Take a look...
Wild Night
Pretty adorable, huh? My favorite pieces of this line are the cardstock stickers...they are super cute!! They are chunky, and even have more of a presence on a layout when they are backed with cardstock. I also really enjoyed using the Core'dinations Grid Cardstock in French Roast....really cool.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have you seen any Summer CHA goodies that you would like to have? This week I will be sharing some of the fun stuff that you can expect to be seeing in the Right at Home store. Check back, ok?
I'm back with a couple of layouts using the Feeling Groovy line from Doodlebug Design. I love Doodlebug's products. They are always bright and cheerful... with a little fun woven in.
The Feeling Groovy line is full of retro flowers, hearts and peace signs. It reminded me of the 1970's. (Ok, so I've just outed myself as a 40 something...) It also reminded me of the feeling you get when you tailgate at a Jimmy Buffett Concert. Margaritaville is an annual event around here. This year we took our best friends to their first Buffett tailgate... they're now hooked!
I must admit, I used the saying from one of the t-shirts I saw for my title... It was just too perfect to pass up. I also used the great coordinating stickers to accent the words of my title. For the Margaritaville part, I couldn't resist stamping a margarita and "salting" the glass with some glitter.
I got the picture for my next layout from an unlikely source... Facebook. A childhood friend posted it on her page. Another mutual friend "tagged" me in the picture. It was so funny to hear from these girls after all these years. The wonder of social networks! The picture is of the kids in my neighborhood circa 1976. The clothes are hysterical... and being the mother of a 12 year old, I'm still questioning my mother's judgment in letting me wear a halter!!
I love how the retro designs enhance a truly retro picture! Add a little fringe, and Voila!
I'll be back in a few weeks with some more layouts. I hope you are enjoying the summer and are finding time to create! Stop by Right at Home Scrapbooking to pick up some goodies soon!
Ok, there is no doubt...the Sunkissed Collection by Bo Bunny is my most favorite line of the summer!! It is sooooo bright and fun! Here are a few more cards that I created with the F-U-N line...
Sending Sunshine
Fun stuff, huh? Pretty easy too! I took a 6 X 6 square card of neutral cardstock, and cut it into a circle using my circle cutter. I then cut a circle of patterned paper and attached small punched circles around the edge to give it the illusion of a sun. Then attach the circle card to the sun. I then threaded each and every little button around the circle, and attached them with a glue dot. Cut out the clouds, punched a small hole in the top, added an eyelet, threaded the hole with floss, and attached it with foam squares. I took the hanging floss and wrapped it around a button, and tied a bow! Added the sentiment, and DONE!! Cute, right? Here is another...
Hey Friend
I had some serious fun creating this card! I first cut the acrylic into a square and put it through an embossing folder. I then took my card, opened it up, and cut a few circles on the front. I also cut a smaller circle in a coordinating paper, and attached it to the inside cover. Then I attached the the acrylic to the inside cover of the card. Added a few embellishments and ribbon, and all done!!
Hope you are enjoying your summer...happy scrapping!!
