I love my sweet little town nestled in the piney woods of Louisiana...I really do, but how much I would give to have a store like Right at Home in my hometown. It seems to me that Lisa always has some fun going on at the store. She is constantly posting about crops, classes, and famous scrapbook visitors...sooooo much fun! So, what are your plans for National Scrapbook Day? Well, my plans (just in case your curious)...I plan to mix a little scrapping, with a little laundry...a bit more scrapping, with a little mopping...and finish it all off with a good dose of scrapping and dusting! All in the privacy of my own scrapbook nook. Sure doesn't seem as much fun as some of you, but I will be working on some upcoming Right at Home projects!!!??? I guess it is kinda like I am enjoying NSD at Right at Home...right? Ok not really, but a girl can dream huh?
Anyhoo, need a little weekend inspiration just in time for NSD? Today I am here to share the last of my April projects using Green at Heart by Basic Grey. Have I mentioned that I love this line? Just kidding, I know I did, so lets get to business...
So last time I posted, I confessed my obsession with circles...remember? And I don't think, from the looks of this layout, that I have kicked that habit. But there is actually another confession that I have in mind to share today...can anyone guess what it is? Ok...I will tell ya...book paper! I don't know what it is about it, but it really makes me H-A-P-P-Y! I kinda think that it gives a little vintage-ish look to my layouts without the inking and distressing. Here are some close-ups...
Pretty fun huh? It really is a fun accent to any layout. What really makes me happy about it, is that they have different types of book paper...yeah, I'm not kidding! White paper with black type, cream paper with brown type, white paper with brown type...ya get it! I know it is a little compulsive, but I really like it...give it a try! Maybe on a layout on NSD? Ok, I will quit. Check out my card...
Oh? Imagine that...circles and book paper? I will spare you...I'm sure you have heard it enough this month. LOL!!
I truly hope everyone has a totally fabulous National Scrapbook Day! And in lieu of the fact that I will be scrapping all alone *wiping a single tear from my cheek", why don't ya try using a circle or two...or maybe some book paper? Well, whatever you scrap, have a great time! See ya soon!
Frances xoxo
