Collage Press's Joyride collection is fun and whimsical, bright and cheerful, and oh so fun! Although I still have presents to wrap, cookies to bake, and a few more cards to mail, I had to squeeze in a couple of layouts with this great line.
I wanted this layout to sparkle and shine just like the surprise snowfall that we got here in Louisiana earlier this month. So, I added Stickles to the chipboard snowflakes, trees, and alphas. To really make the glittered alphas pop, I spritzed on a layer of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. After all that bling, I didn't want my circle to get lost, so I surrounded it with the coordinating die cuts.
My design focus on this layout was the paper pieced Christmas tree. I cut strips of wavy paper and then stacked them until it resembled a tree. The "ornaments" came straight from the 12 x 12 chipboard sheet. The scalloped circle is also by Collage Press, but from a different line. Throw in a couple of tags, more chipboard, alphas, and done.
Well, that's it for me for now. Be back soon with some more Collage Press goodness. Happy New Year!

What great layouts, your work is always so bright and fun!
