Happy New Year everyone! This is the time of year we all vow to better ourselves. One of my many resolutions this year is to complete my Design Team assignments in the month which they were assigned!! With the craziness of the holidays, I never got to this one in December, so here it is now!!
Bo Bunny is one of my all-time favorite scrapbook lines. I love all of their designs. This time I had a lot of fun working with their Kitchen Spice line. Kitchen Spice is full of rich fall colors and great patterns. As soon as I saw it I thought of the pictures I took of my daughter last fall for our Christmas card.
I had so many good pictures to choose from (which is a rarity...) that I decided to create a 2-page layout. I created the scalloped border by punching circles and layering them under the ribbon and paper. For the bottom border, I pleated the paper strips to give it more of a 3-d look. I created the journalling block from the brackets on the sticker sheet and the flowers were hand cut from the Kitchen Spice paper and popped up with foam dots. It was a fun layout to create.
Stop by Right at home soon to check out Bo Bunny's Kitchen Spice and other lines. The papers are so inspiring that you will have no problems sticking to your resolution to scrap more!!
