I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with family and friends !! I had fun at several family parties and now it's time to stop eating yummy Christmas cookies and get back on track !!
My last 2 layouts for my December DT projects used more of the Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses collection !! These pages were so fun and a great way to use up leftovers from my previous projects. The first page was based on Frances December sketch but I changed it up a bit ... another shocker LOL !! I replaced the photos with patterned papers and chose to highlight one photo from Christmas 2008. Here's the sketch and here's my take:
I used chipboard pieces for my elements and popped-up one of the journaling strips for added dimension.
My second page was simple and fun !! I glimmer misted the white cardstock so it wouldn't look so plain and then used strips of leftover patterned paper for the background. I made sure the strips were different lengths and widths for added interest.
The journaling strips are attached to a piece of patterned paper with a transparency over it - from the Take Note journaling cards with transparencies that match the collection. I then anchored the title onto the outer edge of the transparency !! I added chipboard pieces and some Pop-ups also from the collection !! TFL and have a great New Year !!!
