Nothing truly gets you into the holiday spirit than some colorful scrapbooking paper!
The new North Pole Collection from Crate Paper got me so giddy about Christmas that I couldn't wait for new pictures from the big day, I scrapped some from last year!
On this first layout I wanted to add some texture to my layout so I spritzed the paper with water, crumbled it up and distressed it with some sandpaper. Be sure to let the paper dry before adhering to the cardstock. I made the "pleated" paper with the candy cane striped paper and then added some different sized scalloped paper for some added dimension. A little bit if Stickes in Icicle was the perfect touch to complete the layout.
For the next layout I just knew I had to use the adorable chipboard tree as the center of my page. These picture of my girls decorating a gingerbread tree were perfect. I added some buttons to the tree to look like ornaments!
The next layout was made using larger pieces of the paper collection.
And, finally I used a large chipboard candy cane and quote for a card. Again I added some Stickles in Icicle to the letter for some sparkle! So fun & so easy!
May Your Christmas Be Merry and Bright
