Ok, at the RAH Fall Retreat crop this past weekend, I swore I wouldn't use this punny title, but I just couldn't resist! This month I got to work with Cosmo Cricket's Nutmeg line. (see, it is funny...) This is a fantastic line for all of your fall and family pictures. It's full of fun birds, squirrels and great fall colors.
The first layout I created is a picture of my daughter and her big cousin on Labor Day.
The chipboard title came ready made on the Nutmeg Chipboard sheet and the little bird was too cute to resist!
When I saw the adorable squirrel on the chipboard sheet, I immediately thought of this picture of my kitty Daisy, watching a squirrel on our deck. The squirrel knew she was there, and tormented her the whole morning. To make the squirrel more noticeable, I printed a second copy of the picture and circle punched the squirrel. I then mounted it on top of my picture with a pop dot.
Nutmeg is also perfect for all of those apple and pumpkin picking pictures. The deep reds, browns and greens are perfect for fall photos, and the chipboard critters and trees are the ideal embellishments. (For the Jane and Paul's layout I used Frances' sketch.. it was a great fit.. thanks for the inspiration Frances!)
