Hey scrappers, Donna here. Ready to start scrapping some of those photos from your recent vacation, staycation or daycation? If you are, be sure to check out Little Yellow Bicycle’s Traveler’s line, a fun travel collection that brings a little vintage together with colors including orange, green and blue for a line that’s perfect for just about any getaway, summer or otherwise. The line features lots of fun embellishments, including their Clear Cut Shapes and Clear Cut Frames, lace cardstock, a 12” x 12” overlay, cardstock stickers and more – I was thrilled to work with this collection this month and thought I’d share a few ideas for using it that I’m sure will have you thrilled about picking some up to create with it too!
First up, the fun 12” x 12” “snapshot” overlay. Great to use on your whole layout, but remember, you can always cut it up, like here, on the cover of my mini,
here, a piece as its own page,
and here, trimmed to 4” x 6” to fit over the photo.
Next up, the Clear Cut Shapes and Clear Cut Frames - these are too, too cool - there are all different shapes and sizes, large and small, including arrows, brackets, circles and more, leaving room for many creative ways to use them.
Here, a large bracket over the page,
And here, stapled on as a page tab.
And note too, on the cover, I layered the Clear Cut Shapes arrow over the piece of "snapshot" overlay, and on the page above, the "destination" Clear Cut Shape over the bracket.
And, check out these stickers...........license plates, road signs, words, shapes and more - most are embossed, but add even more dimension by adhering them to your pages with pop dots, like here, and on the page above.
Or better yet, add some dimensional glaze to really make 'em pop!
The lace cardstock is fun to use either whole, or cut up, too.
So.........go, get out there, get away, get those travel photos, and use Little Yellow Bicycle's Traveler collection to create that mini book or layout with! You're sure to love it.
