Hello and welcome "home!" I have a question for you today... "do you see what I see?" I am always amazed at how paper crafters can take one thing and turn it into something completely different... and something I never would have thought of myself. LOVE that because the ideas are simply endless!
Well, for Spring Break this year, we did as we normally do and joined a friend on his lake for some fishing fun. My only problem is I had no fishing elements to crop with when it came time to scrapbook these fun pictures. If you take a peek at the die cut elements titled "Free Bird 'Love'" by Penny Lane, you will see these absolutely adorable BIRDIES. I, however, completely and totally see FISH. Can you believe that?! Ya, I just trimmed away the beaks and crown feathers, added buttons for fisheyes and voila! FISH! How cute is that?!
So the next time you are in "our home" shopping and you see some items that you fall in love with because of the colors or style or whatever reason (even if you don't have pictures for that particular theme,) you can still make use with them. Just look more closely and ask yourself... "do you see what I see?"
cardstock: Bazzill, patterned papers: My Mind's Eye Penny Lane (Free Bird "Love" and Free Bird "My Friend"), title block and fish embellishments: Penny Lane (Free Bird "Love"), ribbon and buttons: Right at Home Scrapbooking.
Have a great day! KellyJean
