Frances-Design Team Coordinator

Hello my name is Frances Sylvia and I am from Many, Louisiana. I am a spoiled wife, mother of 4 (all under 9 years old…shew!), Junior High Remediation teacher, and a totally addicted scrapbooker. My greatest inspiration comes from my family and friends in the photos, but I am also inspired by sketches, patterned paper, and what product I am currently swooning over.  My style has evolved like most, but I usually create whimsical layouts with clean lines.  There are a few elements I can not leave off a layout these days, such as, hand or machine stitching, doodling, threaded buttons, and layering. Since my time is mostly devoted to being a wife and mother, I believe that scrapbooking should be FUN!! There is no greater pleasure for me than to enjoy my family, put the kids to bed, and relive the memories that we created once again.  I design for Bo Bunny, The ScrapRoom Kit Co., My Little Bit of Whimsy, and of course I am the Design Team Coordinator for Right at Home.

Anita

Hi, I am Anita Mulcahey.  I live in Medway, MA, when I am not at my other home, Right at Home Scrapbooking that is.  I am married to the love of my life, and have a son who is a Freshman in college in Boston and a daughter who is a Junior in High School.

I have been paper crafting since my son was two years old and he is 19.  I have been on many different design teams and enjoy all types of paper crafts.  I have been doing more teaching at Right at Home and love it.  I have had both layouts and cards published in various magazines and ezines. 

 

Cory

Hi everyone, my name is Cory Mace. I live in Bellingham, MA with my wonderful husband, Adam, and our dog Lucky.

My husband and I have a passion for traveling, and have had an opportunity to visit many places like: Greece, Egypt, Israel, Turkey, and the Caribbean, among other fabulous locations. It was because of my love for traveling that I got into scrapbooking.

My first scrapbooking experience was in 2001, but it took a few more years before I became addicted. Today, I believe that scrapbooking is more than something I do, but it’s a part of who I am—it fuels my creative sole, and allows me the opportunity to document stories that matter most to me. In some capacity, I try to scrapbook daily, whether it’s searching for ideas, planning out layouts, or actually making pages. Personally, I follow the Big Picture Scrapbooking approach, and scrap what I feel like, and don’t worry about chronological order. I’m sure this mentality could change, as my life does, but that’s what makes scrapbooking so wonderful—it’s adaptable to everyone’s personal skill level, tastes, and needs!

I am a SAHM to my toddler extraordinaire, Owen, and wife to my computer genius husband, Ryan. We live in Framingham, MA with three rambunctious cats and a hoard of dust bunnies. Before staying at home I worked as a theatrical costume designer but I now spend my days with paper instead of fabric. I love to cook, bake (especially cupcakes), travel, sew, entertain, and read. I have love for ancient and medieval history, in-jokes, smelling books, making up words, and general shenanigans.

 

I currently hold positions on several design teams and I am thrilled to be a part of Right at Home Scrapbooking's fantastic group of designers!  You can also see my work in Simply Handmade, Cards, Scrapbook News and Review, and Scrapstreet Magazine.

Sometimes when your living life in fast forward you can't seem to find the "pause" button! So you have two choices--crumble or enjoy the ride!! On my ride I am totally enjoying where it takes me, the people I meet, and the journey itself. That is where I find my life right now. I am a lucky wife to Chris who allows me to "bloom" where ever I feel like it at that particular moment! Proud mom of three amazing girls....14, 12, and 10 year old girls....yeah--not always pleasant! :o) Being a soccer mom, a volunteer for my school district, and being creative consumes my life! I am quirky and a bit of a free-spirit. I love to laugh, have a good time, and try to be positive. I choose to surround myself with positive, happy people and don't have much room in my life for the negative kind. I love my friends and wouldn't want to be in this world without them. Also, I l-o-v-e teaching all types of paper crafting classes at my LSS --Right at Home Scrapbooking in North Attleboro, MA. Through teaching I have met some wonderful ladies!! Most recently, my work has been published in Stamper's Sampler Catch Up Issue.

Hi, my name is Kathy Skou and I have been scrapbooking since 2003. I'm a SAHM living in Medway, MA with my husband Ed of 17 years, my 11 year old daughter Caroline and our 2 crazy cats, Daisy and Rosie. They all provide me with plenty of inspiration for my pages!

I was introduced to scrapbooking by some neighborhood friends and have loved it ever since! I love everything about scrapbooking, from taking the pictures to picking the perfect papers and embellishments and finally putting together a layout. I mostly love to get together with friends for marathon crops! I'm always open to try new techniques and products.  This is my first DT experience and I'm looking forward to the challenge!

Hello everyone! My name is Kimberly Gajewski. I live in Massachusetts with my family. During the day, I spend my time with the sweetest bunch of preschoolers and kindergarteners as a Special Education Assistant Teacher. After I get everything and everyone settled at home, I usually have some time in the evening to play in my “Stamping Room” (also known as our former guest bedroom!) My stamping and card making hobby started about six years ago, and I still love every minute that I get to spend time doing it. It amazes me what you can create with some stamps, the right papers, and a few buttons! Whether I’m at a class or just shopping for supplies, I have met so many dear people through this wonderful hobby.

I’m thrilled to be part of the Right at Home Scrapbooking Design Team and I hope that my creations will inspire you.

Hi !! My name is Lynn Kopas and I have been living in North Attleboro for 12 years.

I work fulltime as an ultrasound technologist at several BUSY OB/GYN practices. I’ve been a tech for going on 20 years - YIKES - can’t believe that !! Prior to that I was a veterinary technologist and LOVED it !! I have always loved animals and they will always hold a special place in my heart.

I have always loved photography – from my Canon 35mm with 3 lenses that I adored to my new Canon 40D SLR that I’m completely in love with !! The kids rarely see me without the camera in my face – they have become very comfortable being photographed, especially Joshie who hams it up the most !!! I started scrapbooking 2.5 years ago. I wanted to do an album for my parents 50th anniversary and was instantly hooked !! I truly can’t imagine not scrapbooking – it has become a huge part of my life and I have made some wonderfully close friends along the way !!

I am a collector … and scrapbooking supplies are my new addiction – my scraproom is pure evidence !! I LOVE to organize … anything !!

I love being able to create wonderful memories, have fun doing it and to be able to pass them on is a great gift that warms my heart !!!
